A quiet app should have a quiet data footprint

The free Lullatide Pilot works without an account and does not ask for your name or email address. This page explains the limited information stored by the app.

At a glance

The Pilot does not contain advertising, behavioural analytics, fingerprinting, or social tracking. It does not request access to your microphone, contacts, location, camera, or photos.

Lullatide does not sell personal information. The current Pilot does not collect information for sale in the first place.

Information stored on your device

Lullatide stores your selected mood and volume preference in local browser storage. This allows the app to restore those choices when you return on the same device and browser.

Fine Tuning adjustments are not currently saved between visits. No Fine Tuning values are sent to the Lullatide Team.

The app also uses a service worker and browser cache to store essential files, including the app interface and icons. This is what allows the installed Pilot to keep working after the first successful online load.

Information sent to the web host

Like most websites, requests for Lullatide files pass through its web hosting provider. The provider may create ordinary technical access and security logs containing information such as an IP address, request time, browser details, and requested file. These logs are handled according to the provider's own policies and operational requirements.

The Lullatide app does not currently add its own visitor analytics or user profiles to those hosting functions.

Audio and listening

The Pilot generates audio on your device. It does not collect recorded audio, listen through your microphone, or send the generated music back to Lullatide.

The current app does not report which moods you choose, how long you listen, or when you return.

Removing local data

You can remove Lullatide's locally stored preferences and offline files by clearing website data for lullatide.com in your browser settings. Removing the installed home screen app may not clear browser data on every device, so use the browser's website data controls when you want a complete local reset.

Future features

A future version may offer a waitlist, accounts, optional analytics, or paid features. If any of those features are introduced, this notice will be updated to explain what is collected, why it is needed, how long it is kept, and what choices are available.

Joining a future waitlist or creating an account will be optional. Information will not be collected for those purposes before the relevant feature and notice are available.
